The painting ‘Hiding’ depicts a magical moment in winter when the Moon illuminates a ridge of the Swiss mountains. They are viewed from an everyday view out of Swiss home windows. The triptych relies on the historic Swiss fear of the Alps. The question is: should humanity need to avoid the mountains to protect themselves or are the mountains protecting them from danger?
